Product introduction
A light-deprivation greenhouse is a type of greenhouse that uses blackout material with controlled exposure to light and darkness to simulate seasonal changes.
Grower using a blackout curtain, which is made of a heavy, opaque material that completely blocks out light. The curtain is hung from the ceiling of the greenhouse and is lowered or raised using a motorized system.
Automating light and darkness tricks the plants into flowering on command, reducing the time to reach maturity which allows year-round cultivation with multiple harvests.
Gothic designs are the most popular as they provide higher light transmission and shed snow more easily.
